Transforming Public Transport: The Bexleyheath Bus Garage
In partnership with Go-Ahead London, EO Charging revamped the Bexleyheath bus garage into a cutting-edge facility for electric buses. This project involved the installation of 32 smart-charging units and advanced pantograph chargers that deliver rapid charging capabilities. By combining these technologies, EO maximises operational efficiency while contributing to London’s broader goal of sustainable public transport. Charging Ahead with Tesco
EO Charging joined forces with Tesco to accelerate the retailer’s transition to an all-electric home delivery fleet, covering over 400 UK stores. The project featured EO's smart-charging solutions, designed for scalability and efficiency, which will support Tesco's ambitious carbon reduction goals. EO Charging was selected by Metrolink to install EV infrastructure for its electric bus fleet, marking our first installation in the US. This significant project includes high-power charging units at key sites in Greater Moline, designed to minimise downtime and ensure operational efficiency. With tailored energy management solutions, EO supports Metrolink's environmental goals and sets a benchmark for sustainable public transport.

Partnering with BPost, EO Charging implemented the first European installation of our advanced energy management solution, EO Hub. In a bid to enhance sustainable urban logistics, EO Charging collaborated with Gnewt Cargo to install a comprehensive EV charging infrastructure at their operational site in London. Featuring 63 EO Smart Charging units, the project optimises energy management for Gnewt Cargo's electric delivery fleet. This partnership exemplifies how innovative charging solutions can improve the operational efficiency of last-mile logistics providers while reinforcing EO's commitment to facilitating zero-emission transportation.

Electrifying Warrington's Bus Fleet
EO Charging played a pivotal role in electrifying Warrington's bus fleet as part of a major sustainability initiative supported by the Department for Transport’s ZEBRA scheme. The project involved installing 52 ABB Terra 124kW chargers, managing 6 MVA timed connections, and integrating advanced energy solutions like EO Hub and EO Cloud for optimised energy management and 24/7 operational oversight. EO’s tailored depot layout and lifecycle management ensured efficient site configuration and long-term reliability, meeting Warrington’s sustainability goals. The results include enhanced cost efficiency, reliable infrastructure, and smart energy management, setting a benchmark for sustainable transport in the UK.

Merton's Overnight Charging Revolution
EO Charging partnered with Go-Ahead London to electrify the Merton bus depot, implementing an innovative overnight charging solution. This project involved installing multiple smart charging points to accommodate Go-Ahead’s electric buses, ensuring they are charged efficiently during off-peak hours. EO’s advanced energy management system optimises energy distribution, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and supporting Go-Ahead’s sustainability goals.

Stagecoach Romford's Journey to Zero Emissions
EO Charging transformed Stagecoach Romford’s depot by installing advanced charging infrastructure to support the operator’s commitment to achieving a zero-emission fleet by 2035. The innovative design addressed limited space constraints by incorporating wall and ceiling-mounted chargers, including 20 Kempower charge boxes and 3 power cabinets. EO implemented its energy management solution, EO Hub, to optimise power usage and allow for off-peak charging, while the EO Cloud fleet management system provided real-time oversight of operations. This meticulous coordination ensured seamless installation without disrupting daily operations, resulting in a state-of-the-art charging solution that enhances efficiency and supports Stagecoach’s sustainability goals.
West Coast Motors: The First Fully Electric Open-Top Bus Tour
This project marks the launch of the first fully electric open-top bus tour in Glasgow, supported by a new 1.5MVA connection installed by EO. West Coast Motors' fleet of 10 double-deck buses, sourced from Wright Bus, is now electrified, providing sustainable City Sightseeing tours. EO's strong partnerships with Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNO) were instrumental in delivering this pioneering project.
