How do I create an account?
1. Download the EO Smart Home app, please use the following links:
2. Open the app and press ‘Register’ at the bottom of the screen.
3. Enter the required information and press ‘Submit’.
4. You will receive a verification email (this may come through to your junk folder).
6. Follow the link on the email and then you will be able to sign in.
Can I lock the EO Mini Pro 2 when not charging to prevent any unauthorised usage?
1. You can disable your charger through the EO Smart Home app.
2. On the home screen you will see a padlock, if you press this the lock will close meaning that the charger is unable to be used. If you are not using the app to control your charger then the only way to disable it would be to isolate the power.
I'm having trouble setting my tarrif.
1. We have two preset tariffs in the EO Smart Home app.
2. To set these, swipe from right to left on the home screen to bring up the scheduled charging page.
3. Press the down arrow next to ‘Off-Peak charging’ and this will bring up a box that can be selected.
4. Click the box and select either: ‘Octopus Go’, ‘Go Electric by EDF’ or ‘User Defined’.
5. If you are using either Octopus Go or Go Electric by EDF, the system will ask for some more information and then enter the off peak detail automatically. If you are using a different company then you will need to select User Defined and enter the details manually.

Why does my off peak scheduling not work?
1. First thing to check is the timezone your charger is set to.
2. Press the 3 horizontal lines in the top left of the charger, select ‘Settings’ and then ‘Change Scheduled Timezone’.
3. This will bring up a scroll list of timezones, scroll until you find the timezone applicable to your location (for the UK please select ‘GMT Standard time’ as this will automatically update for daylight savings when needed.
4. Press the 3 horizontal lines in the top left again and select ‘My EO Home’ and follow the steps in the FAQ’s for the type of scheduled charge you are trying to utilise.
5. The scheduled charging feature can also be unsuccessful if there is a scheduled charge set through the vehicle as well as the charger so please ensure there is nothing set through your vehicle.
Why does my app say I am unauthorised to install my charger?
1. If you are the installer then please contact EO Charging Technical Support.
2. If you are the customer/end user, this implies that the installer has not completed their side of the app set up. Please contact your installer and if they are unsure they are to contact EO Charging Technical Support.
Can I export my usage date from the app?
1. Yes, when you open the EO Smart Home app press the 3 horizontal lines, found in the top left corner of the app.
2. Select ‘My History’.
3. Select which time frame you wish to export: Day/Week/Month/Year.
4. Press ‘Export’ in the top right and this will email over the charging history to the email address linked to the account.
Why is my app saying "no EV connected"?
1. Check that the cable is plugged in fully at both charger and vehicle end (if a tethered unit just the vehicle end).
2. If the cable is fully seated, check the colour of the LED light on the charger.
3. If it’s green, check if the vehicle is charging through either the vehicles app or the vehicle dashboard.
4. If it’s blue then disconnect the cable from both ends and plug back in. Insert the cable into the vehicle first and then the charger.
5. If the LED is still blue, try another charging cable.
Why is my car not registering charge?
1. Check that the cable is plugged in fully at both charger and vehicle end (if a tethered unit just the vehicle end).
2. If the cable is fully seated, check the colour of the LED light on the charger.
3. If it’s green, check if the vehicle is charging through either the vehicle app or the vehicle dashboard.
4. If it’s blue then disconnect the cable from both ends and plug back in. Insert the cable into the vehicle first and then the charger.
5. If the LED is still blue, try another charging cable.
How do I set a time of use schedule?
1. Open the EO Smarth Home app
2. On the home screen of the app, swipe your finger from right to left to access the scheduled charging page.
3. Press the down arrow next to ‘Scheduled Charging’.
4. Amend the ‘Start’ & ‘End’ times to the desired times.
5. Press 'Save' at the bottom of the screen.
How do I set a solar schedule?
1. Open the EO Smart Home app.
2. On the homescreen of the app, swipe your finger from right to left to access the scheduled charging page.
3. Press the down arrow next to ‘Solar Charging’.
4. Amend the ‘Start’ & ‘End’ times to the desired times.
5. You can also amend the minimum charge rate but if your solar set up isn’t generating enough power to met this minimum charge rate, it will pull from the grid to reach it.
6. Press 'Save' at the bottom of the screen.
How do I set an off-peak schedule?
1. Open the EO Smart Home app.
2. On the homescreen of the app, swipe your finger from right to left to access the scheduled charging page.
3. Press the down arrow next to ‘Off-Peak Charging’.
4. Amend the ‘Start’ & ‘End’ times to the desired times.
5. Press 'Save' at the bottom of the screen .
How many users chargers can I link to my account?
Only one charger can be linked to one account.
How many users can I have?
1. There can only be one user per charger using the EO Smart Home app.
2. You can log in using the same details on multiple devices if needed.
How do I set my tariff?

Can I lock my EO Mini Pro 2 using the 'EO Smart Home' app?
Yes, on the home screen of the app there is a padlock in the bottom right hand corner.
If the padlock is closed then the charger is locked and if it’s open then the charger is free to use.
How do I set the state of charge with the 'EO Smart Home' app?
When you plug your vehicle into the charger, open the app and you will be presented with a slide bar
Slide the bar to the point that relates to what state of charge your battery is currently at
This will allow the data gathered to be as accurate as possible
What is the app's main feature?
The main features of the app are: the ability to set scheduled charges, remotely disable and enable the charger, download the charging history etc
How can I download the 'EO Smart Home' app?
The app can be downloaded through your device's app store.
It has a blue background with a white EO
What charger does this app work for?
The EO Smarthome app is used for two products.
The EO Smarthome set up which is now a legacy product and no longer available
The EO Mini Pro 2 is our current charging system that utilises the EO Smarthome app

How many car profiles can I have?
1. One car can be set in the app
2. Any vehicle will charge even if it is not set as your vehicle. However the data recorded by the app will not be as accurate
